Fishing Charter in Alaska

2015 was exciting with salmon fishing for the first time since the company was formed, this due to the many requests for both halibut and salmon. Initial testing proved positive with limits on Kings during R&D.  In our gear selection process, we selected Cannon Electric Down Riggers, and associated gear, all top of the line.

With her powerful twin diesels, wide, uncluttered fishing deck and custom “Glyde Ryde" hydraulic seats for a smooth, comfortable ride - our 30’ custom built cabin cruiser Peggy ‘N’ Me is equipped with the latest in fishing technology, including electric reels - which eliminate some of the work, but none of the fun!  This means you don't have to leave as early, you get there sooner, you fish longer and you’re home again sooner to enjoy your catch!

Brent is a USCG licensed Master Mariner since 1984 for vessels up to 100 tons. He also is a licensed Fishing Guide in Alaska. 25 years as a Helicopter Pilot, with a perfect squeaky clean record!

Raewyn has 40 years as a Registered Nurse to her credit.

Peggy "N" Me received a USCG "5 Star" safety inspection recently, this is for above and beyond the normal safety inspection requirements, we take safety very seriously, you will be briefed on all equipment prior to departing the dock.

With a secret database of waypoints to some of our most productive fishing grounds, gathered together from over 30 years of
successful charter fishing, we guarantee you willl land yourself a catch you will never forget.

Seldovia Fishing Adventures, received an A+ rating from clients surveyed by the Picked-by-You Outdoor Series Books and was recently featured in their books: "TopBeautiful View of Seldovia GuidedBest rating-Fish Halibut Saltwater Fishing" and "Top Outdoor Guides & Outfitters of Alaska". Seldovia Fishing Adventures also received an excellent review by renown fishing authors Christopher Batin and Terry Rudnick  in their book, "How to Catch Trophy Halibut".

Our B&B is also listed as a ‘must stay’ in Seldovia, in Nan Elliot’s popular Alaskan accommodation guide, ‘BEST PLACES’

Our Trip Advisor remains "5 Stars"

Raewyn and Brent:

This is Mat Taylor, a proud member of the Taylor Family Fishing Adventure of August 7-8.  I am a very happy customer, and without going into absurd detail, your services were incredible.  The whole package – the whole demeanor – the whole … darned thing.  As we say in the corporate world, “you guys have it wired.”

I am a loss for words in describing WHY my family enjoyed the experience – I simply don’t know.  I just know what IS.  I can say with confidence that four very eccentric, hard-to-please people were overwhelmed by your excellence.  Don’t change a thing – keep it up – it’s darned-near perfect.

You can count on a rebooking if we decide to go on another fishing adventure, you can count on glowing recommendations to potential customers, and if you need a reference or two we will surely provide thereof.

You are simply the best at what you do.  We will remember our experience for the rest of our lives with the fondest of recollection.

PS:  for my 50th birthday trip (2 years away), I would like to do a fly-in salmon trip.  Any hope that you will branch out?  : )

"I took my dad to Alaska to fish for trophy halibut, Ling cod, and more with Seldovia Fishing Adventures, Inc. . It was definitely a trip of a lifetime! Besides the exciting days out on the fishing boat, I thoroughly enjoyed the wonderful lodging and succulent meals they treated me to during my five day deluxe fishing trip; as well as the spectacular scenery and quaint seaside fishing village of Seldovia."

"I just wanted to drop you a note to thank you for a wonderful experience in your beautiful state. I felt at home the minute I walked through your door. The blend of fishing skill and innkeeper's charm made it a first class vacation. The food was to die for!"

Hey folks,

Let me start by saying we never enjoyed a fishing adventure anymore anywhere I have been in 20 years. You guys are great and gonna be my regular new spot.

Been busy since I left there, already done one trip from Seattle to Hong Kong. In Atlanta right now as I right this on the way to Portland for a trip tomorrow to Amsterdam, then 2 day layover and then back to Boston.

I do not get my August schedule until about July 15-16. After I get that, I will be inquiring about dates you have when I have days off. Saw that picture of the guy that got my 125lb.fish. That was a really nice one.

Thanks again for your great hospitality and look forward to coming back to see you.
