My fishing charter experience was amazing! Super knowledgeable captain and crew! Chris is very experienced and runs an awesome fishing machine! This crew knew which fish to target to make the fishing day a success. We came back home with plenty of king salmon, silver, halibut, rock fish, and cod. All the fish were immediately fillet, vacuum sealed, and ready for my departure in the morning. Their outfit is a family run operation and you feel the good vibes from your first contact with Chris and Ashley. Great experience! We will be back!!

We can't say enough about our fishing experience, Chris was so professional, knowledgeable, & accommodating. The seas were pretty rough on way out, but he handled it very well. Once we reached our fishing spot, We brought in Kings,Silvers,and more. Then, on our way in, we stopped and caught our limit of Rockfish. I was looking forward to a guided fishing experience with my dad. What we received was an invitation to be part of the Seldovia Fishing Adventures family for a few days. Chris and Ashley were amazing hosts for the all-inclusive package. Ashley made amazing home-made meals for every meal each day as well as participating in all of the aspects of the business. They really made us feel at home from start to finish. Dustin was our Captain and guide and was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. The multi-species fishing allowed us to catch fish that we had never caught before. Because I was with my aunt, uncle, and dad we had the boat to ourselves and the personal attention for each of us was exceptional. We’re already talking about planning our next trip! If you’re looking for an amazing fishing experience with small town hospitality then this is the place to be!!!

This was our third stay with Ashley and Chris. We keep coming back mainly because of their hospitality. They are the best hosts. We always feel right at home at the House on the Rock. Can’t wait for our next visit. We come up to go fishing but we get much more than that from our visit. Chis is a very experienced guide and always gets us on the fish. He is patient and kind which I believe are rare qualities for a charter boat captain.

I had my fish processed (vacuum sealed and flash frozen) quickly and professionally at a good price. Their setup is far cleaner and more professional than others in the area. I'll plan to book a charter with them next time I'm in the area.

We loved our three day stay with Chris and Ashley. It was heartwarming to see them live out their passion by sharing their home and providing a great fishing experience. They truly are where they are meant to be. They were generous with their time and open to sharing about Seldovia and Alaska. So interesting to learn how they handle so many things that are taken for granted by most of us. The food was great and Ashley makes it all look so easy. Chris is a great captain and truly cares about meeting their visitor's expectations. With their help, we are now enjoying our fish at home although we did not arrive home until almost a month after departing Seldovia. We would definitely (and hope to) stay here again. Fish and stay with Chris and Ashley -- you won't be disappointed.

My wife and I lived in the Great State of Alaska for over 35 years. We recently moved after retiring to the "lower 48." Having been to Seldovia many times over the years we were anxious to get back and enjoy this relaxed, walkable, and quaint small town / fishing village. Seldovia offers coffee shops, gift stores, restaurants, lodging and rentals for bikes and golf carts. Berry picking, hiking and of course fishing top the list of fun activities. Chris and Ashley have a remarkable B&B and Fishing Charter business...Seldovia Fishing Adventures. While there you are treated not only as a guest but as family members. Ashley prepared breakfast, lunch (yummy halibut spread sandwiches on homemade f resh sourdough bread), and delicious dinners such as baked yellow eye rockfish, smoked salmon and halibut chowder, and pan blackened sockeye salmon rice bowls. She is a tremendous cook. The weather was a challenge, but Chris worked hard and we scored our limits of halibut daily. He is extremely patient with people, and not only guides, but teaches. They furnish everything you need from license to bait, to raingear, fish boxes, filleting and vacuum sealing and flash freezing. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with the team of Chris and Ashley, and have absolutely zero reservations in recommending Seldovia Fishing Adventures for your next Alaskan adventure.
