We loved our three day stay with Chris and Ashley. It was heartwarming to see them live out their passion by sharing their home and providing a great fishing experience. They truly are where they are meant to be. They were generous with their time and open to sharing about Seldovia and Alaska. So interesting to learn how they handle so many things that are taken for granted by most of us. The food was great and Ashley makes it all look so easy. Chris is a great captain and truly cares about meeting their visitor's expectations. With their help, we are now enjoying our fish at home although we did not arrive home until almost a month after departing Seldovia. We would definitely (and hope to) stay here again. Fish and stay with Chris and Ashley -- you won't be disappointed.

My wife and I lived in the Great State of Alaska for over 35 years. We recently moved after retiring to the "lower 48." Having been to Seldovia many times over the years we were anxious to get back and enjoy this relaxed, walkable, and quaint small town / fishing village. Seldovia offers coffee shops, gift stores, restaurants, lodging and rentals for bikes and golf carts. Berry picking, hiking and of course fishing top the list of fun activities. Chris and Ashley have a remarkable B&B and Fishing Charter business...Seldovia Fishing Adventures. While there you are treated not only as a guest but as family members. Ashley prepared breakfast, lunch (yummy halibut spread sandwiches on homemade f resh sourdough bread), and delicious dinners such as baked yellow eye rockfish, smoked salmon and halibut chowder, and pan blackened sockeye salmon rice bowls. She is a tremendous cook. The weather was a challenge, but Chris worked hard and we scored our limits of halibut daily. He is extremely patient with people, and not only guides, but teaches. They furnish everything you need from license to bait, to raingear, fish boxes, filleting and vacuum sealing and flash freezing. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with the team of Chris and Ashley, and have absolutely zero reservations in recommending Seldovia Fishing Adventures for your next Alaskan adventure. From start to finish this trip was a fantastic voyage. Chris and Ashley know what they’re doing and they’re doing it RIGHT! 100% responsive; Ashley answered all of our questions, helped arrange our flight itinerary (shout out to Ronnie with True North Air, LLC), provided the best ‘but cheek hollandaise (not to mention the rest of the food), and was the most gracious hostess. We’ve been on Charters from the South Pacific to the Atlantic Coast and the Gulf of Mexico, and this was by far the best EVER! Chris put us on fish immediately and gave us all a feeling that he was as happy to be with us as we were with him. With my family, it was the best time we have ever had on a trip. The lodge was very clean and roomy and we felt like we were just going home. Ashley not only is one of the friendliest and helpful people but is a wonderful cook.
