Ashley, Chris, Colby, Ace and crew were wonderful! They are so welcoming and my stay was very comfortable. Food was amazing every time! Ashley made us halibut sandwhiches for our day on the water and I loved her chocolate chip cookies! Chris was amazing at finding us fish, very knowledgeable. He explained and demonstrated everything we needed to know/do! I learned so much about this beautiful town and Alaska in general! I definitely want to come back!

If you are going to fish the Homer area check these guys out! 45 minutes closer to the fishing so more time on the water! Fresh made lunch and rain gear included (if needed). They really cater to the guest needs, wants, requests! The views from the bnb are breathtaking! Love their fill your freezer tour so you get to do a little bit of everything!

Wonderful stay with Seldovia Fishing Adventures. We each came home with 50 lbs of fileted, packaged and frozen fish, all boxed up, from 2 days’ fishing. The fishing crew expertise and bnb hospitality were outstanding. I highly recommend this experience.

The trip definitely delivered on the adventure! It was a very rewarding fishing experience catching big halibut, salmon, cod and rockfish. Our captain made sure we were enjoying ourselves. He was very dynamic in bringing us to areas which yielded a variety of fish. With smiles on our faces after an amazing day we get to stay in the warm and lovely B and B. Ashley makes fresh bread daily and she makes sure we have the best pack lunches (yummy halibut sandwiches). The B and B has a beautiful view of the ocean which provides a very relaxing backdrop. A great experience of a lifetime.

Look no further and book this charter! Ashley did a phenomenal job communicating all the details of the trip, what to expect, and how everything would work. She was thoughtful and attentive from start to finish. And the chocolate chip cookies and fish sandwiches on freshbaked sourdough were the cherry on top. We stayed in an apartment near the harbor that Ashley and Chris own, and it was clean, comfortable, and welcoming. It was clear right away that these folks take pride in what they do and truly care about their guests. Our boat was captained by Dustin, who did a terrific job putting us on plenty of fish. He was knowledgeable, patient, and did a great job walking us through our first offshore fishing experience. We felt like we were in good hands the whole time. The fish was processed quickly overnight and ready for air travel the next day, which made getting our catch home for the morning ferry back to Homer as easy as could be. We can't say enough good things about Ashley, Chris, and their entire team. They are kind, hardworking people who pay attention to the details and make you feel like you're well taken care of. They also represent their rich and vibrant community exceptionally well. A great charter, a great crew, and a wonderful small-town Alaska experience. We will be back and highly recommend them!

My husband and I, along with two other couples, just returned from a 10 day trip in Alaska, 3 nights of which were in Seldovia. We are originally from Louisiana and are no strangers to fishing, so I don't say this lightly: this was the best fishing experience we've ever had. In fact, we are already planning a return trip next year for an even longer amount of time. We fished two out of our three days with Captain Chris, the owner, and his deckhand Chase. Both days on the water were outstanding. We caught tons of cod and limited out on halibut and rockfish, even with the second day being seriously rough (think Alaska's deadliest catch) seas. Captain Chris knows these waters inside and out, and Chase was hardworking, constantly smiling, and had a fantastic attitude on deck. Their energy, kindness and patience with us made the experience even better. Back on land, the bed and breakfast experience was just as impressive. Chris's wife Ashley is the host, and she is the sweetest, most welcoming person you'll meet. She made homemade cookies, packed lunches for our fishing days, and cooked the best breakfasts. If you couldn't find her cooking, you could find her handling the fish processing business or at the dock with her toddler strapped to her back while she fileted fish. With a smile on her face each time we saw her. Her B&B helper, Cambria, was equally talented in the kitchen and just as sweet. If you have a sweet tooth, Ashley and Cambria's cookies alone are worth the trip. Don't even get me started on the sourdough bread! On our last night, Ashley cooked a delicious dinner for our group, and we spent the evening in great conversation with them. Their son Colby Fin (best middle name for a fishing family) is 18 months old and absolutely adorable. He hung out with us like part of the crew, as did his crewmate, Ace the lab. What impressed us most, though, was how Chris and Ashley treat the people who work for them. You can tell a lot about someone by how they talk to others, and these two lead with genuine kindness and respect. Character like that matters so much to me and my husband. We also ran into a logistical challenge we hadn't anticipated: we caught far more fish than we'd planned for - which is a good problem to have, right? Chris and Ashley stepped right in, filleted, vacuum sealed, packaged, and froze our entire catch, then connected us with a group that shipped it to Anchorage so we could get it on the plane. If you're looking for world-class fishing, a cozy place to stay, incredible home-cooked food, and hosts who make you feel like family, Seldovia Fishing Adventures is THE place. Ashley & Chad

Can I give them 10 stars??? What an awesome experience with this family based business in Seldovia......this is my third trip to Seldovia since 2014 but this was my first fishing charter and I was not disappointed. First of all communicating with Ashley & their business from 2600 miles away in Arizona was a breeze....she was a delight, always bubbly & engaging and willing to help when I kept adding people to our charter trip and responded promptly! I also got to talk to Captain Chris prior to my trip too. We had a total party of five on our charter, Dawn, Robin & me (Trish), plus a lovely gentleman from Homer (Frank) and another dude whose name was Ron. The deckhand was Chase and he was just awesome....always there to help lil' grannies reel in bigger fish, bait the hook and dislodge those unwanted sharks. Thanks Chase....you're a very tall sweetheart and remind me of my grandson! Capt Chris took us to fishing grounds and we brought in lots of halibut, rockfish & cod plus gave us pointers for pulling them in. Thanks Chris! If you are in Seldovia, this fishing adventure needs to be on your list of things to do. The best charter EVER! And this company is the way to go! I also had my fish processed and sent on my flight to Phoenix. Fish arrived still frozen.

The owners are extremely nice & helpful. The bed in our room was great with wonderful views. The daily homemade chocolate chip cookies were delicious, as were the lunches on the boat. The captain & his deckhand were fantastic & they did their best to put us on fish & were mostly successful. We caught a lot of fish in our two days of fishing but due to sea conditions, weren’t able to get out to where the big halibut were.
